Pro-Disco.com is the home of DJ/Presenter "Mal Williams" who is pictured on the left in the JDRF t shirt... Mal Williams is proud to support the charity and also honored that the JDRF have chosen him to DJ and present their Southampton fund raising events... this picture was taken while playing live music and presenting charity announcements for a recent sponsored walk.

DJ Mal Williams has made disco entertainment a life long ambition since the age of 16... at the age of 18 Mal was a grade A design technology student at Tauntons College Southampton with a strong music passion. Side by side with his engineering career, Mal Williams forged his entertainment skills. Today, Mal has over 20 years of professional DJ/Presenter experienced and can provide you with an excellent selection of spectacular sound and light disco shows.

www.pro-disco.com is split up into four dedicated entertainment sections which are "wedding disco" - "party disco" - "corporate disco" - "prom disco". Pro-Disco.com also features a live availability calendar which you can instantly check to see if your special date is available for you to book, this calendar has proven to be very useful and saves a great deal of time. Pro-Disco also features a few carefully chosen professional DJ/Presenters who have proven to be excellent entertainers over the years and they all come very highly recommended.

Please Be Web And Cost Wise... It is important to remember that "all discos are not the same". Watch out for the rogue entertainers who have brought down entertainment standards and dis-credited this industry!... sadly there are no regulations with entertainers and It is widely reported in DJ and disco forums that your precious organised events, which were months and sometimes years in the planning, are being completely ruined by an abundance of corner-cutting and hobbyist internet DJ's that can't use a microphone... have little or no music or presentation experience... have little or no moral conduct and may will let you down for a better paid gig.

TIP... always check out the credentials of your prospective entertainer thoroughly and look carefully at DJ testimonials and also go and see him or her working at an event before you book them.

COST WISE... not surprisingly, most professional, reputable DJ’s charge more for their services than a hobby DJ who is only doing it for a few extra pounds on the side. If you are booking a wedding try to keep in mind how much money you have already committed to your wedding and the impact that a DJ has on how everything turns out.

If a family friend offers to do it for £100 less than a reputable, experienced, professional DJ, think twice before jumping at the lower price. All though DJs are available at all levels and all price points from £100 to £1000, the more talented DJs are normally towards the middle to higher end and they will spend more time helping you plan and co-ordinate your wedding and will also be fully focussed on the success of your event which will give you that all important peace of mind factor. The other end are most probably a hobby DJ and although they may love being a DJ will be unlikely to be able to supply the same level of service and be able to stay in business, like the old adage “You get what you pay for” and “Quality Costs”.
