Welcome To Pro-Disco: I have been entertaining for over 20 years as a professional Dj/Presenter... I used to be fully managed by an entertainment agency called Avenue Artistes but due to the expansion of my own services I am now fully freelance. My Dj experience is huge and spans several decades which is what gives me the edge over other dj's when it come down to top dj and disco performances. I originaly learnt my dj trade as a Top Rank dj in a 4000 capacity supper club. I am capable of presenting both modern and traditional style discos and the difference being is that, traditional uses a more chat and modern uses less chat and more mixing. Corporate Disco, Dinner Dance Disco, Black Tie Disco
I have a lot of experience performing at corporate black tie dinner dances and team building day after-parties etc. I am very happy presenting or co-presenting award ceremonies and I have recently co-presented the "RIAS" company "Oskar Night". All corporate disco dinner dance functions are presented in black tie unless otherwise directed. Most corporate disco events will have a tombola, raffle or even an auction and you will always find me helpful and enthusiastic when it comes down to either help in organising or even presenting these events.
Working alongside your function bands is always a privilege and you will always find me helpful and accommodating when it comes down to sharing and arranging the stage... I have extensive event and stage management experience which always helps when working alongside your bands and artistes and I have found that these skills have been invaluable when helping to coordinate busy stage and entertainment schedules.
SPEECHES: Speeches can be directed and amplified through my disco sound system if needed and the sound system can allow for up to four live microphones to be used simultaneously... a microphone can either be mounted on a neat table stand or mounted on a full floor stand. My normal corporate disco set-up can include up to three microphones (if requested), two corded microphones and one wireless.

My Dj presentation styles can often be Traditional or Modern or even a combination of both... the simple difference is in that Traditional uses more chat and Modern uses more music mixing. Dj'ing with an older clientele will often result in me engaging with my audience with more personality and a younger clientele with less chat and more music... either way I always find the right balance. There are 1000's of mobile discos which have cheap low powered, simple laser lighting BUT there is a world of difference between the laser lighting used in all Pro-Disco Laser Shows. The GOLD and PLATINUM laser disco packages use professional high power touring lasers with state of the art high resolution closed loop scanners, the laser shows are all computer controlled and most of the shows have been written by some of the best Laserists in the world, these lasers cost many thousands of pounds as opposed to a few hundred pounds and you also require an operator's license (HSG 95) to run them in public events... ALSO live laser messaging and multi head synchronisation requires an expensive computer control system.

Resident DJ of Southampton's best Student Night Club "Kaos"
For the last 13 years I have been fortunate to be part of one of the best and longest standing student nightclubs in Southampton. I was chosen as the core resident DJ of "Kaos nightclub" 13 years ago when the nightclub had almost financially gone under. 5 years after starting at the club my Wednesday night was getting real recognition from all the local student unions. The Solent University had voted my Wednesday night as "Best Night Out" for 5 years in a row.
